A Croxley Green man said all the support he has received has been "wonderful" in his fourth decade of raising money for charity through decorating his home in Christmas lights.
This year, Dave Edwards has accumulated £5,500 in donations after he adorned his Lancing Way property in festive decorations.
The total has far exceeded last year’s, which brought in £4,100.
Mr Edwards, who took down his decorations on Monday and popped them into storage ready for their return later in the year, said: "The support we’ve received has been wonderful and I can’t believe how much we’ve raised."
The money will be divided between local causes the Help Noah Walk Fund, Pod Sick Children’s Charity, Bury Lake Young Mariners and Croxley Green Boys Scout Group.
