More than a quarter of a million girlie magazines have been removed from their Watford lock-up by Scotland Yard’s obscene publications squad. Their destination is destruction.
It took three articulated trucks to cart away the magazines – copies of Men Only and Club International – from the big Sun Printers works in Watford.
The magazines, published by Paul Raymond Associates, were seized by police last year and were later found by Watford magistrates to be corrupting and depraving.
