The Lions Club of Watford will launch their "message in a bottle" initiative at north Watford’s Asda supermarket tomorrow afternoon.
The initiative involves a small plastic bottle to keep in the fridge and it contains a vulnerable person's medical information, including details of regular medication, ailments, allergies and next of kin, to help medics treat them in cases of emergency.
Lions Chairman Brian Turner described the message in a bottle as a "life saver" and recommends others keep a second bottle in their cars.
Elected Mayor of Watford Dorothy Thornhill is among those who will attend the launch.
