Motorists are being warned to remove valuables from their cars after four vans were broken into in South Oxhey last night.
Three of the offences took place in Alva Way between 5pm yesterday and 7am this morning. During this time, the vans had either the driver’s window or passenger’s window smashed. Among the items stolen was a sat nav and power tools.
Location of the offences
The fourth break-in occurred between 5pm and 6.30am in Carpenders Avenue, when the passenger window was smashed. Nothing was taken on this occasion.
Police believe the incidents are linked due to the location and timings of the break ins.
