A man from Watford has been arrested on suspicion of affray in connection with an investigation into an assault in a South Oxhey pub.
The 37-year-old man was arrested yesterday morning at an address in South Oxhey in connection with the incident which took place at The Dick Whittington, in Prestwick Road.
On Friday, February 21, at around 11.50pm, it is alleged that a man was approached and hit with a pool cue.
The victim is in his thirties and suffered injuries to his face and neck.
The man arrested has been released on police bail and is due to return to Watford Police Station on May 15.
