Carpets, toilet seats and even the kitchen sink are all items Watford home owners are happy to take with them when they move.
According to research from Saga Legal Solutions, almost a quarter of people in the Watford area are happy to pack up their light bulbs along with their other possessions when they move home.
The company found that home owners are likely to find their new place more shell-like when they move in, requiring an impromptu visit to the shops.
Top five unusual items removed from homes
- Light bulbs (23 per cent)
- Carpets & Floorboards (11 per cent)
- Light switches (8 per cent)
- Plants from the garden & Toilet seat (6 per cent)
- Door handles & The proverbial kitchen sink (3 per cent)
