Council homes in Dacorum will be maintained by Osborne Property Services, the council has announced.
The contractor, which has been awarded the housing management contract worth up to £235 million by Dacorum Borough Council, will be responsible for maintenance work, planned improvements and repairs to the 10,500 council homes in the borough.
The contract will run for five years, but can be extended for another five years on a performance-based annual rolling contract.
Osborne Property Services will start work in the borough on July 1 after Dacorum Borough Council carried out a two-year search to find the right company.
