The construction of a new pitch is back on track at Kings Langley Football Club.
Contractors had been unable to start work on the pitch at Gaywood Park due to wet weather earlier this year.
But, since March, the landscape area behind the first-team pitch has been completed and the top soil has now been installed.
The new pitch is being funded by a grant from the "Protecting Playing Fields" fund, which is part of the £150millon "Places, People, Play" legacy programme.
Money raised by Kings Langley FC through fund-raising activities is also contributing to the new playing surface.
During the work so far, a storm-drain was uncovered and the club believe this will provide the perfect escape route for water without disturbing the ground.
