Motorists are facing delays after a car and lorry crashed on the M25 this morning, causing a fuel leak across the carriageway.
Diesel has spilt onto the anticlockwise exit slip road to the M1 at Junction 21 and remains shut while the Highways Agency and Hertfordshire Constabulary are on the scene.
Hertfordshire Constabulary was called at 10.44am following reports that a lorry and Ford Focus had crashed between Juction 22 and 21a.
The two vehicles need to be recovered and Highways are reporting delays of about 20 minutes.
