Nominations are now open for the an award scheme that recognises people who make a contribution to life in Dacorum.
Dacorum Borough Council is asking for people to either nominate themselves, or others, for the Community Champion Award 2014, which is in its sixth year.
The annual title is awarded to groups and individuals who make the community cleaner, safer and greener.
Councillor Julie Laws, Portfolio Holder for Environmental Services and Sustainability, said: "These awards are a perfect way to recognise and say thank you to those that are carrying out selfless acts to keep their neighbourhood looking clean, safe and green. Please don’t be shy in coming forward and nominating yourself or others."
