The rotary club from Watford took children with special needs to Whipsnade Zoo as part of an annual initiative to give children a "much appreciated treat".
This year the club took eight children from Breakspeare School, Abbots Langley and 28 children from Colnbrook School in South Oxhey.
Rotarian Dick Driver, who coordinates the event for the Watford Club, said: "This is a great Rotary event which we have taken part in for many years and it’s wonderful to see how much the children enjoy it."
