Police have released an e-fit of a man after two men stole cash from a woman in her 90s in Abbots Langley.
Hertfordshire Constabulary say that two men tricked their way into the house, in Summerhouse Way, after pretending to be gardeners.
The suspects are then said to have stolen cash from the woman's handbag.
A neighbour who saw the men told police that they looked like brothers. One of the men, believed to be around 26 years old, was described as white with tanned skin and of medium build and height.
The same witness also said that the man was clean shaven, with short jet black hair.
Detective Constable Jason Tinsey from Operation Manhunt said: "We're looking to identify these two men to prevent further incidents from occurring.
"The victim has helped to create this image of the main suspect to assist the investigation.
"If you recognise this man, have information about the incident, or were also approached that same day by two men offering gardening services, please contact police immediately."
If you can identify this man or have information about the incident, please contact Operation Manhunt via the Herts Police non-emergency number 101 quoting crime reference number C2/14/1463. Alternatively call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
