A "very popular and lovely lady" who was involved in a motorbike accident in Kings Langley is now in a stable condition.
The woman, believed to be in her 70s, was in a critical condition following the incident in Kings Langley High Street on Thursday, July 31.
But Hertfordshire Constabulary confirmed that the condition of the woman had improved in recent weeks and she is now in a stable condition.
A black XT600 Tenere Yamaha motorcycle was travelling north along the road when it collided with a pedestrian.
The rider of the motorcycle, a man in his late 20s, received serious injuries and was taken to Watford General Hospital.
He is in a stable condition. He has since been released from hospital.
