Changes are being made to the way Dacorum Borough Council advertise properties on their Moving with Dacorum website, by advertising them as they become available.
Properties will now be advertised for a minimum of three and a maximum of five days instead of being advertised on a weekly basis from Thursday to Monday. People bidding on Moving with Dacorum will have to check the website more frequently to see when properties are available.
There will still be no limit to the number of bids you can place in one week and properties will continue to be allocated to the bidder with the highest points. Bidding does not work on a first come, first served basis and the change does not affect how the council shortlists.
These changes do not apply to sheltered properties.
The last weekly cycle for general needs properties will end on Monday, February 9 and this change will take effect the next day.
