Detectives have released an e-fit image of a man after the theft of a high-value Land Rover in Chorleywood.

Hertfordshire Constabulary was called to Chenies Road after a white Land Rover Freelander was stolen on Wednesday, January 28.

Officers said the high value 4x4 was taken after someone took the keys from inside the property.

Detectives have confirmed the vehicle was recovered in Sarratt on Saturday, January 31.

The man has been described as a white man with a London accent, slim build, mid to late 20s, with dark brown short hair and a dark brown “well-trimmed beard”.

Detective Constable, Paul Burton, who is investigating the theft said: “We’re very keen to identify this man as he may have information which can assist us with our inquiries.”
