GLEN JACKSON kicked 17 points in Saracens' 22-9 win over reigning Premeirship champions Sale Sharks at Vicarage Road on Sunday, March 4.
The Kiwi fly-half converted Adam Powell's first-half try and nailed five penalties to heap more misery on the depleted visitors.
Powell was a last minute replacement for England centre Andy Farrell, who was not risked after suffering a back spasm overnight.
Lee Thomas kicked Sharks ahead with a second-minute penalty before Jackson levelled matters.
Powell's converted score gave Sarries some breathing space in a half where they were far from their best.
Thomas and Jackson traded penalties to provide a 13-6 half time scoreline before Sarries emerged with more vigour after the break.
The monsoon conditions created handling errors throughout but it was Sarries who always looked more dangerous going forward.
However, they again relied on Jackson, who passed the 200 point mark for the season with three more penalties.
