A woman has tonight been taken to hospital after falling from the roof of multi-storey car park in Watford.
Police were called to the Palace Car Park in Beechen Grove at 6pm to reports of a woman on top of the roof.
She fell from the roof to a ledge ten feet below, officers said.
Firefighters assisted the woman down from the ledge before she was placed in to the care of awaiting paramedics.
The East of England Ambulance Service said the woman was taken to Watford General Hospital with injuries to her leg and ankle.
The Watford ring road was cordoned off for about 90 minutes as emergency services attended the scene.
