A woman is in a stable condition after falling from the roof of a multi-storey car park in Watford.
Police were called to the Palace Car Park in Beechen Grove at 6pm yesterday to reports of a woman on top of the roof.
She suffered minor injuries after falling from the roof to a ledge ten feet below, officers said.
Firefighters helped the woman down from the ledge before she was placed in to the care of awaiting paramedics.
The Watford ring road was cordoned off for about 90 minutes as emergency services attended the scene.
Police said the management of the woman's welfare is ongoing.
