Watford footballers were a barrel of laughs at a charity barrelthon on Friday. Luther Blissett and Liburd Henry turned out to help raise £350 for ITV’s Telethon at Charter Place.

A bevy of beauties from Pinks model agency went along to help. The hundreds of onlookers could not stop adding to the charity total when the girls came calling with collection boxes.

Watford FC won the competition to see who could do the most barrel rotations. Hitachi notched up second spot, hosts Benskins were third and Midland Bank ran in behind.

Benskins Brewery has raised more than £130,000 for the Telethon, which broke the world record by raising more than £21 million for British charities during the Bank Holiday weekend.
