Have you ever imagined yourself playing to 15,000 people at one of the UK’s biggest music festivals?
Well, your chance may have arrived as V Festival launches its competition for one band to join the likes of Kasabian, Calvin Harris, Annie Mac and Sam Smith on the line-up.
The Highway to V Festival Competition invites up-and-coming musicians to battle it out for the opening slot at the festival on Friday, August 21.
Held at Hylands Park in Chelmsford and Weston Park in Staffordshire simultaneously, the artists on the bill perform at one location on Saturday, August 22 and then swap on Sunday, August 23.
The competition will take place from Wednesday, July 15 at selected Walkabout venues across the UK. The grand final to decide the winning act is in London on Sunday, August 2.
