People are being asked to check whether their information on the electoral register is correct ahead of the police and crime commissioner elections next year.
Dacorum Borough Council are urging people now to make sure their information is up to date so they can take part in the elections taking place across Hertfordshire next May.
Jim Doyle, Democratic Services Manager, explains: “If you want to vote you must be registered. Make sure you are able to have your say at the elections next year. Please check the form when it arrives and return it to us as soon as possible.
“If your details are correct, you can confirm them easily online, by phone, or text – just follow the instructions on the form.
“If you’re not currently registered, we’ll send you information explaining how to do this or you can go online to apply to register at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote."
