Two people were taken to hospital after a two-car crash in Vicarage Road on Friday night.
Police, paramedics and firefighters raced to the scene at around 9.30pm after the two cars collided near the football ground.
Firefighters used equipment to cut free one casualty who had suffered leg injuries.
A second casualty had neck pain and was assessed for spinal injuries.
Both patients were taken to Watford General Hospital for further treatment. Their injuries were not thought to be life threatening or serious.
Police had closed off the road to traffic while the cars were recovered.
The emergency services had cleared the scene shortly before 11pm.
