A child has sustained leg injuries when they were run over by a motorist this afternoon.
The accident happened just before 3.30pm today in Melbourne Road, near the junction with Herne Road.
Access to Melbourne Road was closed at the junction with High Street and Coldharbour Lane. All roads have now been re-opened.
Paramedics said the child, believed to be around 11, sustained injuries to their ankle and has been taken to Watford General Hospital.
