Former Watford FC manager Graham Taylor was one of many guests to join the Kings Langley Good Neighbours Association in celebrating their golden anniversary.
Current and former volunteers of the neighbours association marked fifty years since its formation in 1965 on Sunday, October 4.
Kings Langley Parish Council chairman Gerry Angiolini, the association’s chairman Eric Martin were just a couple of the people to give talks at the event.
The association’s founder and president, 80-year-old Stephen Clarke, was also present to ceremonially cut the anniversary cake.
He said: “I was naturally very proud and pleased that an idea that had come to me fifty years ago proved so fruitful.
“I’m also glad I was still fit enough to remain as an active volunteer and I’m determined to be here still when we celebrate our 75th anniversary.”
