I sometimes despair at stupid laws, but there will always be plenty to despair of, take chocolate? No, hands off, that wasn’t an invitation.  UK chocolate & USA chocolate have different meanings….apparently …

The USA have banned Cadburys Chocolate because….well nobody knows the real reason other than our chocolate tastes better and being competitive they don’t like the competition. To qualify as UK chocolate it needs to contain at least 20% cocoa solids, USA only has to be 10%. Cadburys contains more chocolate, and more milk, whereas US chocolate just contains more sugar, so they taste less chocolatey and very sweet

My grandad lived in Canada and I would always send him his favourite Galaxy Bars because he couldn’t stomach American Chocolate, he’d say it was far too sickly.  Have you tried both?  And if so who gets your choco vote UK or USA ?  For health reasons I decided to stop having Milk chocolate a long time ago and only eat Green & Blacks 70 % cocoa bars now,  just four squares a day  has some great health benefits including stabilizing mood…it’s been ages since I’ve been axe swinging down an Asda Isle.                       Watford Observer:

Another stupid law is the banning of the Segways, & hover boards,  yes, the latest craze sweeping the country , I’d just found a nice Pink one to match my hair and now it’s all gone to pot. To ride them on the road they would need to be licenced and insured, but to pass that they would have to meet certain standards…and the European Fun Poopers say they don’t. They have also been deemed illegal to use on public paths and in Parks, so unless you’ve got a back garden that resembles Silverstone, best save your pennies.

Watford Observer:

But it’s okay to have your ankles severed by a partially blind, deaf, elderly mad man on a mobility scooter?...seemingly so, because they come under different rules….the mobility scooters not elderly mad men.

Other bonkers bans from around the word include the one from Oklahoma, being fined or jailed for pulling an ugly face at a dog & for those more local that like clubbing, not pulling a dog with an ugly face Boom! Boom!  Oh I’m only jesting.

If you know of any other bonkers bans you’d like to share with us all?  Then get them in the comments below.    Watford Observer:
