The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for Hertfordshire as Storm Imogen continues to batter parts of the UK.
The yellow weather warning – which means “be aware” of potential travel disruptions – has been issued as very strong winds move across the south of England.
The chief forecaster at the Met Office said: “An area of low pressure is expected to move eastwards across the UK with a swathe of very strong winds, which will cross most of southern England and parts of south Wales.
“The winds are likely to be very gusty at times, in particularly in association with heavy showers running across these areas.”
