A gunman fired a shot through a house window in Watford.
Armed police and dog units were called to Crusader Way at 1am this morning.
There was a small circular hole in a top window. Glass around that has cracked.
No-one was hurt and detectives are now canvassing the neighbourhood for information.
Spokeswoman for Hertfordshire Constabulary Sarah Spence-Miller said: “Police were called to reports that a gun was believed to have been fired through a window at a residential property in the street.
“Whilst the occupants were at the address, no-one has been injured.”
No arrests have been made.
