A man in his 30s was taken to hospital after having a seizure outside a takeaway.
Hertfordshire Police were called to St Albans Road in Watford to reports of a man having a fit while lying in the street.
He was treated by a paramedic but taken to Watford General Hospital with head injuries. A number of people who tried to help him also suffered minor injuries.
Two police cars and an ambulance were called to the incident, outside Jenny’s Cafe, on Thursday at 10.55pm.
Part of the road was closed while emergency services treated the man.
