Which restaurant served cold food and which pub was deemed poor value for money?
St Albans’ worst rated restaurants, pubs and hotels on Trip Advisor have been revealed...
The Speckled Hen, in Hatfield Road, serves traditional pub classics including, sausage and mash, scampi and chips and lasagne. However, the eatery has left a bitter taste in many customers, as it received 11 “terrible” reviews and 20 people rated it “poor” on Trip Advisor.

Sam's Take Away, which serves Chinese food, in Haseldine Road, in London Colney, near St Albans, averaged two stars.

Jamie's Italian, in Chequer Street, St Albans, serves Italian and European food created by Jamie Oliver, including an array of pasta dishes and steak. However, the restaurant did not fare well on Trip Advisor, as it received 130 “terrible” reviews and 202 “poor”.
