When will the Conservative Herts CC admit that their contractor, responsible for pothole repairs, is still using antiquated and inefficient methods?
On past experience, concerned individuals, like Tony Pettit (W.O. Feb10th), are going to have to wait for ever.
The contractor, Ringway, was given a seven year contract which probably has three more years to run!
In 2015, the ‘horizons’ magazine informed us that Herts C.C. were in receipt of £2.2 million from the national pothole repair fund.
Some of that cash should be used to buy one of the road repair machines of the sort that are already in use by other councils.
Councils, using those machines, report speedy, long lasting repairs with accompanying cost savings.
