With the Hertfordshire County Council election less than a month away, the nominated candidates for each of the 78 wards have been announced.

You must register to vote by Thursday April 13 if you have not already done so. This can be done online at https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote

All 78 seats will be contested at this year’s election, with an additional ward created since 2013. Boundary changes to electoral divisions will take effect at this election following a review by the Local Government Boundary Commission.

Three seats at Watford Borough Council will also be contested on Thursday May 4 following the resignation of three councillors.

All six Watford wards will be contested at the election: Nascot Park, West Watford, Central Watford and Oxhey, Meriden Tudor, Woodside Stanborough, and North Watford.

The nominated candidates for each ward are as follows.
