A new food store has opened in Croxley Green following a £550,000 construction project.
The Co-op store in Watford Road was opened today (Thursday), and will create 20 new jobs in the locality.
Co-op says the shop contains an in-store bakery alongside a focus on fresh, healthy foods.
Store manager Tharshan Ratnasingam said: “We are delighted to have undertaken such a significant investment in Croxley Green. The purpose built store has a great look and we have received a great response.
“The Co-op is moving forward with a clear purpose and momentum. Our ambition is to ensure the store is a local hub, a real asset for the community.
“We also want shoppers to know that they can become a co-owner and member of their Co-op, and have a say in how the organisation is run.”
