A high street will be shut for up to a day while improvement work is carried out.
Hertfordshire County Council’s highways team confirmed they intend to make an order to renew the “existing waiting restrictions” in Rickmansworth town centre from February 23.
Traffic will be diverted away from the high street between the junction with Northway north westwards to the junction with Station Road.
An alternative route will be available along Church Street, A404 Riverside Drive, Wensum Way and the rest of the high street.
The order is needed due to utility service works being proposed to be carried out on or near the road.
If the order is made, the restrictions will take effect at times that are set to be indicated by signs on or near the road.
