A celebrity football match celebrating a home team’s quarter century will go ahead with many familiar faces making a return visit.
To commemorate 25 years of Watford FC being at the heart of the community, Vicarage Road will play host to The Stars For 25 Celebrity Match on May 12.
The unique event, featuring Watford FC Legends Tommy Mooney, Steve Palmer, Marcus Gayle and Gavin Mahon will see a host of other famous faces back together.
Kick off is at 3pm.
Fan favourite, Mooney, is hoping to add to his tally of 65 career goals while at Watford FC, whilst former Hornets captain, Mahon, will look to emulate his success during the 2005/06 season.
The pair are to be joined by two-time promotion winner, Palmer, and 2002/03 Player of the Season, Gayle, as well as Luther Blissett, and other well-known faces including Danny Jones, Jake Wood, and Calum Best.
Lending their support off the pitch will be Tony Coton, Steve Sherwood, and Neil Price. More names will be announced as the date draws near.
