The family of a 82-year-old who died has paid tribute to their mother, grandmother and wife.
Edith Margaret Lilian Izzard known as Lily was born in Redbourne, Hertfordshire, to parents Frederick and Hilda Mimer.
Lily died on Sunday at the age of 82 while surrounded by her family at Hill House Care Home in Elstree.
As a young woman, Lily met her future husband Seymour Izzard in the Red Lion Pub, Bushey, in 1954, soon she had three sons, David, Stuart and Mark.
An amateur artist, Lily loved to draw and paint and would often sew and knit toys for school fetes and fairs.
She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren; Georgina, Eleanor, Harriett, Charles, Mille and Ruby.
Her family said: "She was the finest wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed but never forgotten."
The funeral service will be held on July 25 at the West Herts Crematorium at 3.20 pm.
Refreshments will be served afterwards at The Aldenham Social club, Church Lane, Watford.
