Watford football club are in the headlines for all the right reasons after a superb start to the Premier League season and some of the club’s Junior Hornets have been lapping up the success of some of its heroes.
Match of the Day Kickabout were in town this week to interview a number of excited young fans and ask them about their side’s terrific start to the new season.
The Hornets have won all four of their games so far and sit at the top of the table alongside Liverpool and Chelsea.
As well as talking about the player’s exploits on the pitch, the children were given the opportunity to show off their own skills when they took part in a session with Watford FC’s community sports and education trust coaches at the Meriden Community Centre.
The stars of the show were Daisy Knight, Noah Przygrodzki, Jasmine Wooddeson, Fabio Caroleo, Bella West, Lillian Daly, Ella Parker, Amir Mallick-Bhatt, Vedant Rao, Kavya Shah, Callum Sweeney, Rio Woolf, Toby Evans, Harrison Osler and Henry Mapp.
