A woman was taken to hospital after she was hit by a car outside a pub, before the vehicle drove off.
An ambulance and a rapid response unit were called to Prestwick Road, South Oxhey, at 8.45pm yesterday evening, following reports a female pedestrian had been struck by a car.
The vehicle involved, a black Mini Cooper did not stop at the scene and police are carrying out enquiries to trace the car and driver.
The woman, who was hit near The Dick Whittington, was taken to Watford General Hospital for treatment.
