Two community groups spreading “happiness” will pair up to help Santa pull his sleigh and bring in the festive season.
Watford Lions Club and Chorleywood Rotary Club will drive Old Saint Nick and his reindeer through various locations collecting for charity.
Elves will be knocking on people’s doors to tell them the big guy is coming when he passes through Abbots Langley “central route” on December 7, Abbots “Old Hospital sites” on December 14, a “studios route” on December 20 and the Kingswood estate on December 21.
Donations made on each night will go towards various causes including Peace Hospice Care, Blood Runners, New Hope and Demand.
Prakash Panchal Watford Lions Club secretary said: “Come out and see Santa Claus, help our local charities and come spread some happiness over the festive period.”
