There are major delays at a busy roundabout this morning, believed to be because of a traffic light failure.
Hertfordshire County Council says it is currently investigating the lights at the roundabout where the M25 j20 and A41 meet near Kings Langley.
There are long queues on every approach into the roundabout, including on slip roads off the M25, on the A41 from Shendish, and the A41 from Hunton Bridge.
There are also delays on the A4251 from Kings Langley.
Motorists are advised to avoid the junction if possible.
Elsewhere, in and around Watford, traffic heavier than usual in Bushey at the junction of Elstree Road and Heathborne Road. Reports of an incident and police at the scene.
Very long queues as well on Aldenham Road between Bushey Hall Road and Little Bushey Lane.
Delays across much of Watford, including on the A405 between Woodside Leisure Park and Horsehoe Lane, along St Albans Road into the centre of Watford, the A41 between the A405 and the Dome roundabout, and heavy on routes around Bushey Arches.
