Two people are wanted in connection to the theft of two charity boxes.
Hertfordshire Police said two Sepsis Trust collection boxes were stolen from AG Salon in Garston Park Parade on Saturday between 3pm and 3.15pm.
A man and woman entered the salon asking if the woman could use the toilet because she was pregnant.
The pair then left saying they would come back in five minutes.
Only when they failed to return did staff notice two charity boxes were missing.
The woman is described as being about 30-years-old, 5ft 1in tall, of slim build with long, curly brown hair with highlights. She was wearing a beige jumper and grey jeans with diamante studs.
The man is said to be mid-30s, around 5ft 5in tall and of medium build with short black hair. He had an Eastern European accent and was wearing a grey hoodie and dark trousers.
Anyone with information that could assist officers is asked to contact Hertfordshire Constabulary online at www.herts.police.uk/Report or by calling the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference 41/20097/19.
