A medical charity that helps diagnose and treat cancer is encouraging the community to take part in a 10km walk to raise funds.
Paul Strickland Scanner Centre is organising a spring walk fundraiser to help people who are affected by cancer and other serious conditions.
The charity, which provides CT, MRI and PET-CT scans at Mount Vernon Hospital in Northwood to diagnose and monitor patients with cancer and other serious conditions, will hold the 10km circular walk at Chenies Manor in Rickmansworth.
The walk will raise money for medical research and new scanners in hopes to benefit patients.
It will take place on May 6, to book a place contact 01923 886315. Entry costs £8 in advance and £10 for on the day registration.
