Watford Borough Council and its partner Veolia are once again backing a national campaign to get half a million people across the UK out and about cleaning up their local areas.
The Great British Spring Clean, which runs from Friday 22 March to Tuesday 23 April led by Keep Britain Tidy is an initiative to get people clearing up litter.
Last year’s campaign saw over a hundred residents, school children, councillors and Veolia staff get together to clean up eight different areas of Watford.
Elected Mayor of Watford, Peter Taylor said: “We are very proud to support this fantastic initiative once again.
“The Great British Spring Clean is the perfect opportunity for residents to get active outdoors and help clear up any rubbish that you see.”
