Police seized drugs, a knuckle duster and cash in a raid in Watford.

Watford Safer Neighbourhood Team and Operation Scorpion swooped on an address in Lockhart Road on Tuesday, May 7.

Officers seized a knuckle duster, drugs paraphernalia, cash and cannabis.

One man was reported for drugs and weapon offences and enquiries are continuing.

PC Richard Beuttler, from the Watford Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “These warrants were carried out following intelligence received from members of the public and information gathered by local officers.

“Drugs can have a far-reaching impact on our communities as they are often related to more organised, violent crime. If you suspect someone is using or dealing drugs in your neighbourhood, please report it and continue to report it to us so we can take suitable action.

“We are constantly building and adding to our intelligence picture of these issues so if you are involved with drug crime, I can assure you that it’s only a matter of time before we catch up with you.”
