Shoppers at intu Watford are sure to love a free game table tennis after the centre opened a pop-up Ping Pong Parlour.
The parlour can be found on the upper mall, near the entrance to the intu extension and will be open during the centre’s opening hours. Everyone is welcome to drop in to play on one of the six table tennis tables in the parlour.
The tables will pop up for six weeks; to join in the fun, simply grab a bat and play – absolutely free of charge.
intu Watford says it is delighted to have teamed up with Table Tennis England, the sport’s national governing body, to bring this project to life.
General manager at intu Watford, Vicki Costello, said: “Table tennis is a sport that everyone can have fun doing. Whether you’re popping to the centre on your lunch break, visiting the cinema with the family or meeting up with friends, the Ping Pong Parlour is great fun for all.”
