A woman was brought to safety after she was spotted on a bridge on the M25 last night.
Hertfordshire Constabulary, Thames Valley Police, and highways officers were called to the M25 near Chorleywood at 9.50pm last night (Monday).
A decision was made to put a full closure in place on the M25, clockwise between j18 and j20 and anticlockwise from j20-j17, with drivers being diverted through Rickmansworth, Croxley Green, and Watford.

Police say a woman was brought to safety at around 11.40pm and she was taken to hospital.
Hundreds of motorists were left stranded on the motorway while the incident was ongoing with some drivers sharing pictures on Twitter of them outside their cars.
A bizarre image showed people queueing up at an ice-cream van, which had been caught up in the closure.
