A GROUP of travellers who pitched up in a Stroud town centre car park have moved on.
A total of nine caravans and associated vehicles parked in the far corner of the Cheapside car park, next to Stroud train station on Monday night.
The group were served with a notice to leave yesterday, which they did.
A police spokeswoman said: "Shortly after 8.40pm on Monday, September 16, Police were called to Cheapside car park in Stroud following reports that travellers had moved onto the site.
"Officers served a section 61 Order to leave to those on site who stated that they would leave on Tuesday."
