A key route connecting the M25 and M1 has been shut for emergency repairs.
Highways England says the slip road on the anticlockwise carriageway, which takes traffic off the M25 at junction 21 and onto the M1 northbound, is closed.

Traffic flow on the M25 has not been affected by the closure.
This closure will only affect drivers who have joined the M25 at junction 22 or earlier.
The slip road is expected to reopen at around 2.30pm.
Drivers are being diverted along the M25 to junction 20 for Kings Langley.
Exit at j20, go around the roundabout, and rejoin the M25 onto the clockwise carriageway at j20.
Then exit at j21 for the slip road to the M1 north.
Elsewhere, two lanes are closed anticlockwise on the M25 at junction 23 for the A1. This is also due to emergency repairs. Traffic is very slow from junction 24 for Potters Bar to junction 23.
