A second Argos store will open in Watford tomorrow.

The store is unveiling a new branch on Wednesday March 4 inside the Sainsbury's store at the Dome roundabout.

Sixteen new jobs have been created and customers will be able to benefit from thousands of technology, home and toy products available for immediate pick up, as well as collect orders they have made online.

The new store will have a Pay@Browse area with tablets that enable customers to purchase what they want quickly and conveniently as well as browse for products, with Argos colleagues on hand to help.

Mark Gray, Sainsbury’s Dome Roundabout store manager said: "We are thrilled to welcome the Argos team and even more fantastic colleagues to our store in Watford.

"The opening is great news for our customers, who are always looking for easier, more convenient ways to shop. We look forward to offering them an exciting range of products at fantastic value."

Patrick Dunne, director of property, procurement and cost transformation at Sainsbury’s, added: "By opening Argos stores inside Sainsbury’s supermarkets we are bringing even more customers great choice, value and convenience – this opening is further testament to their popularity and the hard work of all our colleagues."

This will be the second Argos store shoppers in Watford can visit. There is an existing store at Waterfields Retail Park.
