An air ambulance attended and took the patient to hospital
A woman has been flown to hospital after she was hit by a vehicle in Borehamwood.
The emergency services were called to Shenley Road at 1pm.
It looks like the incident has happened outside the entrance to Borehamwood police station and Hertsmere Borough Council's offices.
The woman has been taken by air ambulance to hospital for treatment.
Shenley Road was closed, with police blocking off the scene, to allow the vehicle involved to be recovered.
However the road is now open again.
