Police in Watford are holding 'social distanced' surgeries to help people with any issues they are facing during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Watford Town Centre Safer Neighbourhood Team is holding neighbourhood surgeries over the phone today (Thursday) and tomorrow (Friday) between 10am and 4pm.

The surgeries will allow people to speak to an officer to discuss any concerns they may have.

In line with the current Government restrictions, neighbourhood teams across the county have postponed drop in surgeries and other community events to comply with social distancing.

"We have had to postpone a number of events. However, the phone surgeries are an alternative way of allowing our communities direct contact with officers to discuss issues that are affecting their quality of life.
